Southern Railway Steam

Although the Southern had often been glorified for its use of Electrics, its fleets of Steam Locomotives were still a great part of their legacy, covering many famous routes from London Waterloo to Exeter, Salisbury, Exmouth, Barnstaple, Bude, Padstow and many other holiday destinations.


Working the first Royal Duchy of the year from Bristol Temple Meads to Par is preserved Southern Railway 4-6-2 Bullied Battle of Britain/West Country Pacific Class number 34067 ‘Tangmere’, sweeping round the corner at Dawlish. (02/08/2015)
