One’s so obscure they don’t really justify their own album.

1980 DMC DeLorean DMC-12
What you’re looking at here is the forerunner to catastrophe, known simply as Pilot 20.
This pre-production prototype of the ill-fated and scandalous DeLorean DMC-12 was built in 1980 by Lotus, 6 months before the production models began leaving the Dunmurry factory in Northern Ireland. The car was air-freighted to Olson Engineering in the USA for emissions testing in October of that year, together with the earlier prototype Pilot 19.
Following the failure of the DeLorean company, both cars were sold at bankruptcy auction in the USA, and both ended up here in the UK under the ownership of Chris Nicholson. Pilot 20 was restored to road-worthy condition, and is now the oldest running DeLorean car in existence, which, hopefully, will be joined by Pilot 19 in the near future.
